1. Information We Collect

To provide our services to teachers and students, we may collect:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration or inquiry.
• Usage Data: Information on how you interact with our platform, including IP address and browser type.
• WhatsApp Communication Data: We process phone numbers and message templates strictly to send educational updates, course links, and support via the WhatsApp Business API.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our teacher-student platform.
• To send automated course updates and notifications via WhatsApp.
• To process payments and generate invoices for course enrollments.
• To provide customer support and improve user experience.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share information with trusted third parties to run our operations:

• Meta Platforms (Facebook): To facilitate WhatsApp Business API communication.
• Payment Processors: To securely handle transactions via encrypted gateways.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law to protect our rights or comply with judicial proceedings.

4. Data Security

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures (including SSL encryption) to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information.

5. Your Consent for WhatsApp

By providing your phone number on our contact form or registration page, you explicitly consent to receive educational notifications and administrative messages from SBPD Academy via the WhatsApp Business API.

6. Google Drive Access & Permissions

SBPD Academy offers an optional feature that lets you save files you create within our app — such as videos recorded in our Teleprompter Studio — directly to your own Google Drive account for backup and safekeeping.

When you choose to connect your Google Drive, our app requests only the limited drive.file permission. This is the narrowest possible Google Drive scope, and it means:

• We can only access files that you create or open through the SBPD Academy app. We cannot see, read, or access any other files already present in your Google Drive.
• We use this access solely to upload your app-created files to your Drive, and to let you view, share (via a link you generate), download, and delete those same files from within our app.
• The files are stored in your own Google Drive account. We do not keep copies of your videos or documents on our servers. We only store a reference (file ID and title) so we can show them back to you in your file list.
• We do not sell, transfer, or use this Google Drive data for advertising, or for any purpose other than providing the backup and file-management feature described above.

SBPD Academy's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google Account permissions page.
